Standish913.com has been blessed to do an exclusive interview with...
"JADEN BETTS"!

Let's get into some exclusive questions...
STANDISH: You voice “Donny McStuffins” in Doc McStuffins. Tell us how you landed this awesome role.
BETTS: It’s actually a funny story — my dad, Erik Betts, is an actor and stuntman. Years ago, he was working on a Nickelodeon crossover called iParty with Victorious. I tagged along to the audition when I was about seven. Afterward, the casting director, Krisha Bullock of Bullock & Snow Casting, gave my dad a card for Coast to Coast Talent Group. A few months later, my agents sent me on my first voice‑over audition for Doc McStuffins — and the rest is history.
STANDISH: Tell us about your overall mission, Jaden.
BETTS: Movies are my life — whether as escape or entertainment, they help us connect with the world. I practically speak in movie quotes! My mission is to be part of stories that uplift, inspire, connect, and sometimes simply distract — just like so many films did for me.
STANDISH: How does it feel to be an inspiration in the children’s television community?
BETTS: It’s surreal at times. I was only eight when I started — not far from the age of some viewers. Now, at 23, I meet people just a few years younger who say, “Oh my gosh, I loved that show!” Honestly, it’s such an honor, and I never take it for granted. Doc inspired so many kids and reached so many hearts — I’m just grateful I got to be part of it.
STANDISH: You voice Stinky in The Stinky & Dirty Show. Can you tell us more about that?
BETTS: That was an amazing experience on Amazon Prime. I got to work with incredible talents like Jane Lynch, Whoopi Goldberg, Tom Kenny, and Wallace Shawn — and as a Princess Bride fan, that was extra special!
STANDISH: You voice “School Boy” in PJ Masks. Anything to share on that role?
BETTS: That was a blast. I’m a big superhero fan, so the concept of the show really resonated with me.
STANDISH: You’ve also voiced in Sofia the First. How did that role feel to land?
BETTS: It was awesome. Many of the same creative minds from Doc McStuffins were involved, so it felt like family from day one.
STANDISH: If you could voice one dream role, what would it be?
BETTS: Oh, that’s a thinker — and kind of a two‑parter. One dream is voicing Wallace “Ace” West, Kid Flash, in James Gunn’s new DC universe — animated or live action, doesn’t matter to me. If Kid Flash shows up, I want to be there!
STANDISH: What’s on Jaden’s music playlist?
BETTS: It’s all over the place — from Hamilton to Logic to Falling in Reverse. Honestly, I’m into everything: metal, country — you name it.
STANDISH: Of all your work, what’s been your favorite? Least favorite?
BETTS: I shot a film years ago called Time Toys. That has to be my favorite because of the experience and the lifelong friendships I made — those memories are priceless.
STANDISH: What can we expect from you in the future?
BETTS: Lately I’ve been branching beyond acting — writing scripts and developing projects. A few things are looking promising… I’ll leave it at that for now!
STANDISH: Where do you see yourself in five years?
BETTS: Ideally, I’m acting, writing, producing, and maybe even directing.
STANDISH: Who are some of your mentors?
BETTS: I admire artists who embrace all facets of filmmaking — like Seth Rogen, Jordan Peele, and Ryan Reynolds — my self‑proclaimed “spirit animal.”
STANDISH: Top three items on your bucket list?
BETTS:
1. Write and make my first movie
2. Play Kid Flash
3. Play Carter Kane (from Rick Riordan’s The Kane Chronicles)
STANDISH: Where can fans find your work?
BETTS: Check my Instagram for updates on upcoming projects — and of course, there’s my IMDb page for a full resume.
