EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW: 8x Guinness World Record Holder "Anthony Miracola" Delivers A Motivational Sit Down With Standish...

Standish913.com has been blessed to do an exclusive interview with...
"ANTHONY MIRACOLA"!

Let's get into some exclusive questions...

STANDISH: You're claimed to be "The Greatest Shooter Of All Time", how does it feel to hold this title? I personally feel that you have enough proof to back this title, keep going man I respect your hustle.

ANTHONY: It feels great. I have a special passion and respect for the game of basketball. For the majority of my life I devoted daily increments of my time to becoming what I am today.

STANDISH: With that being said, you're an 8x Guinness World Record Holder, what's that feel like to be apart of & are you currently shopping for more records?

ANTHONY: It’s cool. I think it’s just another way to prove or measure up against whoever in the field of shooting. My goal is to have just about every shooting basketball record in my possession in time.

STANDISH: Tell us a little about your overall mission, Anthony -

ANTHONY: My overall mission is to continue to raise the bar of shooting a basketball to new levels. I want people to believe that if they want something, go get it.

STANDISH: How does it feel to be such an inspiration in the Sports scene?

ANTHONY: It’s nice to inspire people. I think my story is one that many can relate to. I have always been and continue to be counted out, overlooked, dismissed, etc. However, I stick to my guns and have found a way to continue to make my own lane and prove people wrong. I think and hope other people can and will do the same in whatever it is they do.

STANDISH: Today, what would you say your biggest accomplishment has been?

ANTHONY: It’s really hard to say. To pick a single thing is really tough. Maybe my recent victory at Gil’s Shootout if you piece everything from my story together to get to that point. . . . But I would say the real answer is just me. I don’t want to brag or sound cocky but I have battled my way to this point. Nobody has ever been so dedicated to the day to day process of shooting as I have. In an era where everybody wants instant gratification, I have had the patience to see everything through. I believed in myself and what I was doing for so long when almost nobody else did.

STANDISH: I see that you're training your kids, can you tell us more about this? Have they set any world records and do they plan to if not yet?

ANTHONY: My son just turned 5. He really enjoys it. We spend 80 minutes every single day practicing. It may sound like a lot but the rest of the day he is just a regular kid. I believe he is the best at this point. Hopefully he can continue to be that as he progresses. My daughter just turned 2. She seems to really like basketball as well. But she has Down syndrome, is recovering from open heart surgery, eating from a tube, and is just a little behind typical milestones for a child her age. However, as she continues to progress I think she’s going to be awesome.

STANDISH: What can we look forward to in the future from you?

ANTHONY: I think the future is going to be interesting. Hopefully you can expect even better shooting and more winning.

STANDISH: Where do you see yourself in 5 years from now?

ANTHONY: I hope I am just continuing what I am doing right now, just a little further along, and even more accomplished.

STANDISH: Who are some of your mentors?

ANTHONY: My parents, former coaches, etc

STANDISH: During COVID, we all faced struggles, what was one of your main struggles?

ANTHONY: I was wondering what to do. I all of a sudden wasn’t too certain what the future held. I sort of shifted gears on making shooting an even bigger priority with my new found spare time. It ended up being a good thing because it gave me even more time to craft my own shot. During that time I began the process of becoming “The Greatest Shooter.”

STANDISH: What does a relaxing day look like to Anthony today?

ANTHONY: Making my daily shots, helping my kids do their basketball stuff, and just hanging out with my wife, kids, and kitties at home.

STANDISH: Where can fans find your work?

ANTHONY: They can type @miracola360 or Anthony Miracola on Google or Social Media.

STANDISH: Anything you'd like to include here?

ANTHONY: I am also absolutely one of the best ball handlers / dribblers in the world. I was an amazing player before all of this. I also have won all sorts of basketball arcade / pop-a-shot competitions all over the country.

STANDISH: What are your social links?

ANTHONY: My social media handle on everything is @miracola360. I am on Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Twitter, and SnapChat.
