"20 personalized exclusive questions for 20! Call it 20 for 20 w/ Standish913!" - Standish

Let's get into some exclusive questions...

STANDISH: Encore named you top 2% in producers, I know you work hard, how's it feel knowing things are all coming together?

20: It's dope to know that all my efforts and years that it took to get here is surely getting here & finally being noticed and seen that I really been out here working! Top 2% is dope, it's a nice lil flex lol.

STANDISH: You produced "Walker Texas Ranger", "XXL", and more for DaBaby, how'd you land these & did you know they'd take off the way they have?

20: How did I land those placements? I was working with DaBaby when he was Baby Jesus and technically we are located in the Carolina area and state Charlotte, NC. I was working out of audiobox studios where he came to record some of his sessions; On top of the fact that I knew 1/2 of his manager Carter from South Coast Music Group years before I met him.

STANDISH: As you know, I interviewed Lil Man J a few months ago, tell us how you and J first met...

20: When I first met Lil Man J (which I call him LMJ) we didn't clique instantly, lol he was 17 at the time. But I met him at Maximus Studios in a session with engineer Khasciense and artist Chris Hendrix when they were doin' a song together called "Soul of Fire".

STANDISH: With that being said, Lil Man J's newest hit "Poppin Out" is produced by you, where'd you get the inspiration for this vibe?

20: Honestly, I made that with the expectation of giving that to a memphis artist, but instead I played it for J at the studio and he gravitated towards it instantly. Plus, LMJ hooks are very catchy so I seen no problem lettin' him jump on the record.

STANDISH: You produced "Pull Up" for Lil Keed, how'd you land this?

20: I landed the "Pull Up" record with Jetson Made it, it was our first time meeting each other and we made that beat right on the spot together. Further down the timeline he called me and told me we got one and the record brought Lil Uzi outta retirement. Shout out to Jetson Made It

STANDISH: What would you say makes Eliot Bhor so special to you for your projects?

20: The fact that he's humble and I instantly gravitate to his guitar skills. It has a hint of Spanish tones and still manages to capture emotion in its skill and is what I admire.

STANDISH: If you could work with one artist, who would it be?

20: Future, all because of the fact he is the first I seen start from the grind and take it completely to mainstream success. I've watched from 16 to now through my brother's tie with the dungeon family.

STANDISH: Tell us a little about your overall mission, 20 -

20: My mission was always to set out and prove a point that I could do it. Lil brother had to step in for big brother and make way for myself and show my kids that consistency and focus with sacrifices does reward you, and as a dad not returning back empty handed.

STANDISH: Out of all the projects you've done thus far, what's been your favorite?

20: "Blank Blank" with DaBaby. It was no real pressure to be great, just the vibe of 2 people working to be heard.

STANDISH: How old were you when you first realized you wanted to do what you do today?

20: 16 years old.

STANDISH: Where do you find your motivation to be great?

20: In knowing that I dont have a plan B.. this is my plan A,B,C and D.

STANDISH: What can we look forward to in the future from you?

20: AiRBNBeats Retreats for producers to grow, not just with music but mentally and socially, with confidence and a foundation of like minded peers.

STANDISH: Where do you see yourself in 5 years from now?

20: On an Island with a beautiful model “preferably one that has been at least on Vogue”. Sippin on strong drinks with a blew chew in my hand and playing with her with my time in the sunshine lol.

STANDISH: Being in this crazy busy industry, what does 20 find a relaxing day as?

20: A day I can sit down pay attention to nature without a phone or expectations to go anywhere.

STANDISH: Who are some of your mentors?

20: Mentors are anyone with knowledge and wisdom. I watch everyone from the homeless to the rich, and take bits and pieces from what inspires me about that person or about how that knowledge can help me.

STANDISH: During COVID, we all faced struggles, what was one of your main struggles?

20: Being at home, while at the peak of my career not being able to move outside

STANDISH: What advice would you give upcoming creatives like yourself?

20: Learn numbers, learn how to negotiate, learn true value, and learn to not to take things personal (unless IT WAS PERSONAL).

STANDISH: Where can fans find your beats?

20: By reaching to me personally, serious inquiries only.

STANDISH: Anything you'd like to include?

20: Nope lol Just learn the laws of attraction.

STANDISH: What are your social links?

20: Igot20onmybeat on all plaforms except facebook that's Producer20
