EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW: Taylor Gang's Super Producer "TM88" Collective "Crash Dummy Record's" Own "SLO MEEZY"...

Standish913.com has been blessed to do an interview with...

"SLO MEEZY"!

Let's get into some exclusive questions...

STANDISH: You recently helped produce "SUPPOSED TO BE LOVED" featuring DJ Khaled, Lil Baby, & Future, how'd you land this incredible project?

SLO: Dj Khaled has been working with Crash Dummy a lot so it was one of those ideas that we worked our magic on and brought to life.

STANDISH: You recently helped produce "Dead Last" featuring Rick Ross, Meek Mill, Vory, & Fabolous, tell us more about this one & where the inspiration came from...

SLO: The inspiration came from my producer bro’s B March & KidWonder. Kid is a very talented pianist so it was of those days when everyone was locked in but we didn’t want to go the Trap route with the sound. Meek Mill’s engineer Mackey hit us up for a pack that same day and the rest is history.

STANDISH: You recently helped produce "Peace & Love" by Wiz Khalifa, can you tell us more?

SLO: That was a fun record to work on. Tm88, Mac, Sid & I around that time talked about working on other genres a lot. We ended up connecting with Wizzle and ended up with the inspiration to go Pop. The process was like learning on the job but the end result amazed us.

STANDISH: You recently helped produce "KEEP GOING" featuring DJ Khaled, 21 Savage, Lil Durk & Roddy Ricch, can you tell us more about this record?

SLO: This song actually came as a surprise to us. It was a beat we made after cooking up for like 8 hours so we were burnt out lol. TM almost skipped over the melody but Me & Moon was like “nah bro pull that melody up”. Tm started on we finished it not thinking too much about it. Eventually Khaled worked on it then “Keep Going” was born.

STANDISH: Being under Taylor Gang & Super Producer TM88's "Crash Dummy Records" group, what does it feel like knowing you have a great team behind you?

SLO: It’s a dream come true and honestly made all of the long nights and uncertainty worth it. Crash Dummy as a whole is phenomenal. I have a team of some of the best producers in the industry and a staff that cares about us. Crash Dummy is more of a family to me. We’re creating memories and making history together.

STANDISH: If you could work with one artist, who would it be?

SLO: Kanye West. As an artist & co-producer.

STANDISH: Tell us a little about your overall mission, Slo Meezy –

SLO: I want people to feel good and enjoy music again. I’m old enough to have grown up in the 90’s and heard songs from different eras that I still listen to til this day and love. Bring back good vibes and energy to the world.

STANDISH: Out of all the projects you've done thus far, what's been your favorite?

SLO: My favorite is Dj Khaled – God Did. That was my first major placement with Crash Dummy that went on to go Gold and become nominated for Grammys, BET awards and a few others. I’m truly grateful to be a part of that.

STANDISH: How old were you when you first realized you wanted to do what you do today?

SLO: I can’t remember my exact age then but I was in 9th or 10th grade. I was in the band the entire time I went to school but I ended up with “Fruity Loops” back then and it took over my life, more so in a good way. So I feel like I’m meant to be here doing music.

STANDISH: Where do you find your motivation to be great?

SLO: I want to leave a legacy and positive impact on Earth. Even if it’s not with Music. And I have a gift so why not share it with the world and inspire others.

STANDISH: What can we look forward to in the future from you?

SLO: More placements, more hits, more plaques, more wins, more life..

STANDISH: Where do you see yourself in 5 years from now?

SLO: 5 years from now, I see myself as a Grammy Award Winning, Diamond, producer, Philanthropist, Author, Astronaut, President. Really whatever I put my mind into becoming. I dream big.

STANDISH: Being in this crazy busy industry, what does Slo find a relaxing day as?

SLO: I like learning new things. I may learn something simple but it’ll fascinate me. It also keeps my mind off of the things I can’t control.

STANDISH: Who are some of your mentors?

SLO: I can say Tm is honestly. He’s like a big bro and a Coach. I feel like I can call myself an actual Music Producer thanks to T.

STANDISH: During COVID, we all faced struggles, what was one of your main struggles?

SLO: I don’t talk about this much but right before the COVID lockdowns, I was going to sign to Future but life happened. It was hard to focus on the music at that time but the music and connections I gained during that time are priceless. It made me stronger.

STANDISH: What advice would you give upcoming creatives like yourself?

SLO: There are no rules to Music Production. Just make it sound good. A mistake can turn into a hit record. Your worst beat can be your biggest hit. Dream big.

STANDISH: Where can fans find your beats?

SLO: They can find my beats either in the studio or when a song releases. I’m trying to be more exclusive these days.

STANDISH: Anything you'd like to include?

SLO: S/o to the SoufSide, Clayton County. Crash the World!
