What is your name?
Jezmar McBean but everyone calls me JEZY.
Where are you from? Your age?
Barrie, Ontario, Canada. I'm 32 years old.
What do you do?
I run my own music and merchandise company "Jezy Music". I wear every kind of hat, running my business along side with my life partner. Whether it’s creating, refreshing different clean rap music or hooking up my JEZY models (people who wear my merch) with fresh hot off the press merch! I do it all!
Tell us a little about your company/brand -
The JEZY brand represents everything Jezmar McBean is about; Family, dedication, Postive energy and love!
Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
I'll have my own TV show called "The JEZY Show" based on educational learning mixed in with clean rap for the kids! The JEZY brand itself by then will already be one of the most recognizable brands in the world.
Who are some of your mentors?
My mentor is Clinton Sparks. I read his book. Took his courses and now I'm executing my plan with him directly.
What are you currently working on?
I'm releasing music every 2 months! So next one up is my super relatable record "ANXIETY" That drops March 25th!
During COVID we all faced struggles, what was one of your main struggles?
The hardest part for me was finding locations during restrictions to do my music videos. I was still able to ultimately figure it out and managed to pull off a few videos such as SOMETHING NEW, A GOOD DAY and WEIRDOS.
