What is your name?
My name is Dr. Krista Gerau.
Where are you from? Your age?
I’m from St. Louis, MO and I am 49 years old.
What do you do?
By profession, I am a Chiropractic Physician, but I retired from practice in 2017 to help people heal on a deeper level. I currently work with people who are traveling the spiritual path and want to take their life, love and/or career to the next level. I offer intuitive and spiritual guidance, along with metaphysical and energetic healing. I also do tarot and oracle card readings for those who are interested. My primary focus, however, is on shadow work, inner child healing and releasing the limiting beliefs that most often keep us stuck, fearful and anxious.
Tell us a little about your company/brand -
I’m the owner of Ascendant Coaching, LLC, and my business model and brand have been evolving since day one. Initially, I focused on career and business coaching, but have since grown in many new directions. I’m as excited as anyone else to see where I’m heading with this venture. One thing I can say for sure though, is that no two people are alike, so everyday is a new experience!
Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
Where I see myself in five years is a tough one for me to answer… The best thing I can come up with is that I want to be happy, in love and financially free. I see myself traveling, having fun and making an amazing living for myself while doing that. My goal is to live my life to the fullest, which is something I feel I have yet to do.
Who are some of your mentors?
Professionally, my personal chiropractor for the past 25+ years has been an incredible mentor for me. Personally, quite a few people have crossed my path with kernels of wisdom that I still rely on to stay on track. And spiritually, I would say that Dr. Wayne Dyer has had the greatest impact on my growth. His book, Change Your Thoughts— Change Your Life literally changed my life.
What are you currently working on?
I’m currently working on building my business and brand. And I’d like to venture into a few new endeavors and branch out in different ways, but those projects are still in the works, so you’ll have to stay tuned to see what’s coming. Haha.
During COVID, we all faced struggles, what was one of your main struggles?
Honestly, the whole Covid issue didn’t really affect me, or my business. I was already working from home and conduct most of my business online and over the phone. My business and clientele actually during that time.
