Standish913.com has been blessed to do an exclusive interview with...
"ALYSSA WITRADO"!

Let's get into some exclusive questions..
STANDISH - When did you first start to sing? What was your favorite thing to sing?
I first started singing when I was 2 years old, I loved singing anything by Kelly Clarkson or The Black Eyed Peas!
STANDISH - What is your go-to genre to pick from when you have to preform?
I definitely love pop and rock music or anything alternative!
STANDISH - Do you have any warm-up rituals?
Truthfully I’m really awful at doing warm ups, so I tend to just sing a couple songs I love to get my voice ready for any performances.
STANDISH - Who are your top 3 idols?
Ariana Grande
Billie Eilish
BTS
STANDISH - If you had to pick an artist to be stuck on tour forever with, who would it be?
Definitely Ariana Grande. I have adored her for so long she is one of my all time favorite singers. I just really admire her and she has so much talent. I’d love to be on tour with her :,) <3
STANDISH - Do you have a favorite piece of advice Gwen Stefani gave you?
Yes! We’ve had many amazing conversations but something that definitely stuck out to me was that no matter how you feel during a performance, if you messed up or you think you didn’t do the best, most people don’t notice and you can’t dwell on the things you didn’t do perfectly because there will always be someone who thought it was amazing. That was really sweet to hear from her, especially in a moment when I needed to hear that.
STANDISH - Ever had a microphone die on you mid-performance?
No I haven’t thankfully! On the voice though I did have a performance where right before the performance the mic wasn’t working and I got a new mic like 5 seconds before the performance started so it gave me anxiety.
STANDISH - Where is your favorite place to travel to when singing?
I just love LA!!! The feeling I get when I’m there makes me feel like I can do anything.
STANDISH - What did you learn the most from your time on NBC's "The Voice"?
I learned a lot about just being on my own for the first time at 19 in LA and I also learned that the world is bigger than just my city in California lol ! I met a lot of amazing people who I love with all of my heart and just meeting them and getting to know people from different walks of life was really incredible. I also learned that song choices are extremely important LOL
STANDISH - What was the most nerve racking part of being on "The Voice"?
The live shows were the most nerve racking thing for me. I was a mess backstage!! I was so nervous because I knew millions of people were watching me and I didn’t wanna disappoint anybody. And my family was in the crowd and I always want to make them proud so all of that definitely got the best of me haha !
STANDISH - Would you ever want to switch from singing to something else? If so, what would that be?
I would love to be great at a sport or something, I love watching gymnastics at the Olympics so definitely would love to be a gymnast
STANDISH - What's something about you most may not know?
I’m a really shy person, it doesn’t seem like it when I’m on tv or performing but in my everyday life I’m very shy and also just really boring ??? I really like to just hangout at home with my dogs and bake and just relax because I feel like my life is so busy all the time. I just like to be alone.
STANDISH - How many relationships did you gain from The Voice & which is the most meaningful to you?
I’ve gained so many beautiful lifelong friendships from the show and my friends mean the world to me ! One of my best friends is Jillian Jordyn from my season. We clicked the first day we met and we talk every single day still. I love that girl beyond! Also Sasha Hurtado and Devix. Those guys mean so much to me I miss them so dearly. They got me through a lot during the show and they’re so talented and such beautiful people inside and out. Also Justin Aaron, Kim Cruse, Eric Who, Bryce Leatherwood, Morgan Myles. All such beautiful talented people I miss them every single day.
STANDISH - What's it like being in the same room as all 4 superstar judges?
It doesn’t even feel real honestly ! They looked like holograms at first when I saw them I was like “woah are they even real people?” But they are all really sweet down to earth people. You wouldn’t be able to guess that by just watching them but they’re all so genuinely kind and want the best for their teams. Camila and Gwen were both such amazing women to be around. Sooooo soooo encouraging and gave such amazing advice. I’ll forever cherish my time with them.

STANDISH - Anything else you'd like to include?
I just really wanted to say that since being on the show it has helped me tremendously, especially with getting incredible opportunities in my hometown like being able to do gigs, autograph signings, and being able to meet fans and take pictures with them :,) it always makes my day when little girls tell me I inspire them to become singers too. I’m just really grateful that I get to do what I love and make people happy.
