EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW: "Terrifier 2" Clown Cafe Host "Leah Voysey" Talks "Terrifier 3", Upcoming Projects, & So Much More With Standish...

Standish913.com has been blessed to do an exclusive interview with...

"LEAH VOYSEY"!

Let's get into this awesome exclusive interview...

STANDISH: So, I just interviewed David Howard Thornton AKA "Art The Clown" and he mentioned "Terrifier 3" was a go, my question for you is, are you going to be in this next film?

LEAH: As of right now, I do not have any information regarding my inclusion in the next film. I hope so!

STANDISH: Tell us a little about your overall mission, Leah –

LEAH: I like making art in many different forms. My end goal is to be an actor, but I also love video games, cosplay, home décor, and fashion. So in between jobs, I use my YouTube channel to explore those hobbies. As long as I am creating, I am succeeding in my mission.

STANDISH: How does it feel to be apart of the horror community?

LEAH: It’s a dream. I love horror films, I think it is one of the most exciting genres. And it’s always been innovative. If I could make horror films for the rest of my life, I would be happy.

STANDISH: How did you first get involved with "Terrifier" films and or Damien Leone?

LEAH: The casting director knew me, so I was brought in for the roles of Allie and Brooke. Those roles did not go to me, but the CD knew that I was a singer. So when the Clown Café role came around I got to read again and ultimately booked it.

STANDISH: Your role as The Clown Cafe Host is great, how long did it take to film? how did you end up landing the second nurse role as well?

LEAH: We filmed the Clown Café for an entire week! There were so many moving parts to bring that scene to life. The role as the nurse came months after we had wrapped The Clown Café. I am not 100% sure of Damien’s motivation behind that decision, but maybe it will mean something in the future.

STANDISH: What can we look forward to in the future from you?

LEAH: My film company, Late Bloomer Pictures, is currently submitting our new short film to festivals. I star as Erin, a queer sci-fi writer dealing with a family who does not support her career. I am excited to finally show it to people!

STANDISH: I saw you do music just like myself, is it something that's just a hobby for now?

LEAH: I think music will always be a hobby. I have released original music before and I am not against working on music in the future, but at the end of the day I don’t consider that a huge part of my career. Terrifier’s success has given me a lot more time to work on creative endeavors like music, but don’t expect a tour any time soon! Maybe some more originals and music videos, but that’s about it.

STANDISH: Where do you see yourself in 5 years?

LEAH: Happily making art.

STANDISH: During COVID, we all faced struggles, what was one of your main struggles?

LEAH: I found the uncertainty really frightening. But I think that helped me learn to live in the moment. Our worlds can change at any second and without warning. Worrying about the future never helped me, it only stressed me out. So now, I just focus on the day to day.

STANDISH: Anything you'd like to include?

LEAH: My podcast, It’s All Geek to Me, is going into it’s 3rd season very soon!
